Question: What’s the difference?

God’s answer:

Not a family in My book.

Question: Does that have any consequence for them that you don’t recognize them as family? Aside from not being able to get married in church, what difference does it make?

God’s answer:

Only in My eyes
Their marriage is not binding.

Question: So, if they get divorced, it’s not a sin?

God’s answer:

Not the divorce itself

Meaning: The act of divorcing is not a sin but they can commit sins in the process of doing so (i.e. hurting the other)

Question: So they are also not bounded, in your eyes, to remain faithful to each other?

God’s answer:

That’s between the two of them.

Question: Can you please confirm?

God’s answer:

No sanctity of marriage

Question: Is there anything else you would like to add about The Sacrament of Marriage, in general?

God’s answer:

I said My piece.

To speak one's piece means “to express one's opinion; reveal one's thoughts upon a subject.”79

God used this expression in line with a well-known statement associated with a marriage ceremony (the wording of which, is said to come from the Anglican Book of Common Prayers80): “If any of you can show just cause why they may not lawfully be married, speak now; or else forever hold your peace.”81

Question: Can you give some concluding/closing message for this entire chapter (The Holy Church and the Holy Sacraments)?

God’s answer:

Go to church.
